ILLIG automatic pressure forming machine IC-RDM73K

Summer 2018: ILLIG introduces the new IC-RDM 73K pressure forming machine with high output and a quick-change tool system. Compared to the predecessor model IC-RDM 70K, the forming area of the new machine has been increased by 23 percent. Other technical innovations include shorter mould unit movement times, an extended film heating tunnel, optimised moulding air technology and tool cooling, and the use of a lightweight tool. Depending on the application, they together contribute to an increase in production output of up to 25 percent. A new easy-to-use tool block changing system reduces set-up time by over 50 percent to less than 60 minutes. A tool change axis, an optimized upper table adjustment and the lower table with supporting air elements support the operator during quick and easy tool change. Furthermore, ILLIG has consistently implemented the Cleantivity® concept for the IC-RDM 73K with optimized film spiking, machine temperature control and condensation water drip protection.
